GOLF - AROEIRA I AND II:

AROEIRA I it´s situated 25 km from the center of Lisbon, the Aroeira I & II golf courses are set in a protected pine forest very close to the beaches of Costa da Caparica.
Herdade da Aroeira benefits from a micro-climate that allows the practice of golf throughout the year, offering a challenging challenge to players of any level.
Opened in 1973, the 18-hole championship course Aroeira I, was designed by the architect Frank Pennick, and is considered by specialists as one of the best courses in Europe. It is included in the list of "Top 100 European courses" by Golf World magazine, as well as the Aroeira II field.
Received the Open de Portugal in 1996 and 1997, several Ladies Open, Amateur Champioship Gentleman & Ladies in 2010 and 2011 and more recently the European Men Clubs Trophy 2013.

AROEIRA II Inaugurated in April 2000, the Aroeira II was designed by the architect Donald Steel, who took care to comply with the recommendations of the European Tour, and to design a field to think about future events of high competition.
With 18 long Greens skirting 5 large lakes, the Tees in each hole allow the field to be played by all sorts of players.
She has hosted for several years the Qualifying School of Ladies European Tour and several editions of Portuguese Ladies Opens.
